To start building a care plan, click on "Build a care pathway" at the top right of the page. First, fill in the general information required.
Fill in the necessary general information:
- Add a title. This will be the name of your care plan.
- Add a catchline.
- You can add multiple benefits to outline the goals or positive outcomes of the care plan.
- Define the duration of the care plan.
- Provide an overview or detailed explanation of the care plan in the description box.
- Define “Actors” for the care plan by clicking on “Add a member”.
-
-
-
- Actors are roles that are assigned within the care plan to represent the different functions involved. Importantly, an "Actor" does not refer to a specific individual but rather to a role or function that can be assigned to various users as needed.
-
-
-
-
-
- For example, you could define the following “Actor titles”: Main Doctor, Radiographer, Nurse…
-
-
-
-
-
- These roles will later be used in different tasks or automations within the care plan. To learn more about this, go to the Automation - Appointment box section.
-
-
-
-
-
- After publishing the care plan, the roles (Actors) can still be reassigned, unlike the widgets that compose the care plan, which can no longer be modified.
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
- For example, if John Smith (the Main Doctor) leaves the care plan, you can easily replace him with another doctor. All the tasks and actions previously assigned to John Smith will be automatically reassigned to the user who is now the Main Doctor in the care plan, without disrupting the patient experience.
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
- Assign the care plan to users. Once you've defined the actors, you can assign specific users to each role:
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
- Choose a user for each Actor (e.g., assign a doctor to the "Main Doctor" role, a nurse to the "Nurse" role).
-
-
-
-
-
- Define a location for the care plan by clicking on “Add a location” and give it a name. Then, select the sub-organization to which the location belongs.
-
-
-
- Adding a location works similarly to adding Actors. Locations are used to represent the different places or sub-organizations involved in the care plan.
-
-
-
-
-
- Locations do not refer to a specific place permanently tied to the care plan. Instead, they act as flexible points within the care plan that can be easily reassigned if needed.
-
-
-
-
-
- Like actors, locations can be reassigned even after the care plan is published. This allows flexibility in managing the care environment without affecting the integrity of the care plan itself. To learn how to create a sub-organisation, go to the Manage Sub-Organisations section.
-
-
- Add a room. To learn how to create a room, go to the Rooms & Modes section.
- Add a reservation mode. To learn how to create a reservation mode, go to the Rooms & Modes section.
- Save your care plan information by clicking on “Save”, and then go to the next step by clicking on “Next”.
