Questionnaire builder allows you to add different types of questions using a drag-and-drop interface.
A numeric question is used when you want respondents to provide numerical input. This type of question can, for example, enable you to track the evolution of a metric. To learn more about metric evolution, go to View my patient’s measures section.
How to add:
- Drag and drop the "Numeric Question" element to the canvas.
- Optionally, select an existing metric or create a new one by clicking on
. To learn how to create a new metric, go to the Manage my metrics section.

- If the metric already has a limit, this will be filled in automatically. You will not be able to change it.
- If the metric has a scoring system, this will be filled in automatically. You will not be able to change it.

- You are not required to ask a question that is linked to a metric. For example, the question could be “Give me a number between 1 and 10”. In this case, you can set limits if necessary and also add a scoring system.
- Enter your question in the question text box.
- Click on “Next”, to see the scoring for this metric. The scoring was defined during the metric creation. The chosen metric may not have a scoring system, you can set one optionally. The scoring system is free to your interpretation.
- Don’t forget to save your new question by clicking on “Finish”.
